Program Highlights:
“In order to best learn a language, one must first live a language.” Come spend two weeks living, eating, and being French in France’s 5th largest city, Nice.  After daily French lessons taught by a USF professor you will be able to use these opportune moments, rich in vocabulary, to practice your own French communication skills in real life situations. We will take the traditional classroom outdoor as we stroll along the avenues of Vieux Nice, visit the world renowned museums, shop at an outdoor market, or have un café at le café, all the while absorbing la culture française. We will share in their heritage and history as we celebrate their Fête Nationale on the 14th of July.  How about a day trip to Cannes to see the handprints of stars who have visited the International Film Festival? Pick them out - all your favorites are here, along with many French actors and actresses too. Feel like a celebrity yourself as we jet off to Paris for the weekend for 3 days of fast, fun French.  Don’t just imagine, but experience the passé of the Louvre, the présent of the city of lights, and the futur of your time there.  Enrich your vocabulary even more with a day trip to Monaco to see the Musée Océanographique, where Jacques Cousteau was the director for 31 years, and experience royalty as you watch the changing of the guards at the Prince’s Palace.  Learn about different professions as we tour the world-renowned Fragonard perfume factory located at the bottom of charming Eze village.  Why not climb to the top of this ancient perched village 1200 feet above sea level, and explore the Botanical Gardens as well as the château ruins overlooking the crystal blue Mediterranean Sea.
