Citizen scholarship sets USF St. Petersburg apart. Faculty at USF St. Petersburg believe students learn best outside the classroom, by applying their academic work within the community. Citizen Scholarship is a joint venture between the university and businesses across the region. These partnerships provide a starting point for students to gain real-world experience, and USF St. Petersburg programs benefit organizations by providing valuable academic service. In addition, each college partners with a public school in Pinellas County as part of the city’s Mayor’s, Mentors and More program.
