Admission Requirements for Transfer Students -
Transfer Admissions Requirements In the fall of 2008, the University of South Florida St. Petersburg implemented a new series of requirements for the admissions of undergraduate transfers. This new admissions policy redefines the types of undergraduate applications that we can consider. These classifications of undergraduate transfer applications include:
Please note: meeting the minimum requirements for admissions does not guarantee admission to the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. Moreover, students who are admitted to USF St. Petersburg and wish to take courses on the Tampa campus must meet the admissions requirements for USF Tampa. These requirements are available at http://usfweb2.usf.edu/admissions/transfer_reqs.htm. In addition to the above requirements, transferring applicants must meet the entry GPA requirements for the majors that they select on their applications for admission. Applicants to these limited access programs may be denied admission the University if they do not meet specific program requirements. Before submitting an application, please note the following:
The University of South Florida can consider only one application per student. To be considered for admission to the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, applicants must specify St. Petersburg as their home campus. After submitting their applications, students can change their home campus by completing the “update application form” available at the following web page: http://www.stpete.usf.edu/admissions/forms.htm. Students do not have to submit separate applications or additional application fees. To complete the application process, students must submit:
In addition to the above documents, applicants who have earned less than 60 transferrable credit hours must also submit official copies of high school transcripts and standardized test scores (SAT or ACT).
