Advancement, which houses University Relations and Development, enhances
communications, develops partnerships, and fosters relationships
between USF St. Petersburg and its constituents. Advancement works
to strengthen community resources in support of the campus

University Relations serves as the center for campus communications,
marketing, event planning and web site initiatives. We develop unique
relationships with and communicate to the complete array of campus
constituencies, both internal and external, creating
a broader, deeper and more complete understanding of USF St. Petersburg.
The focus of every University Relations activity supports the campus' mission of teaching, research
and service.

Marketing & Publications
University Relations coordinates print advertising, broadcast advertising, branding and promotional efforts. We provide advice and assistance with marketing plans, strategic communications and community outreach efforts, produce a weekly e-mail publication, and maintain the campus calendar of events.

Media Relations
University Relations is the primary liaison to external news media. We promote
USF St.
Petersburg by pitching a variety of news stories, positioning
faculty opinion pieces, and providing expert commentary for current
news. Media Relations is also responsible for editing and publishing the campus newsletter: eNews.

St. Petersburg Co-brand logos and symbols are outlined in the Visual
Identity Standards. University Relations can assist you with questions about
proper logo usage. We also direct the campus' graphic identity program and authorize
the use of USF marks, signing off on display advertisements prior to payment
from purchasing.

Internal Communications
eNews is the official
e-newsletter for faculty and staff at USF St. Petersburg. This
weekly publication is distributed every Wednesday and contains
news, research updates, community experiences and events. Faculty
