The campus website leverages Adobe client/server technology and custom templates for web content management on divisional and college sites. Each site in the system consists of these human elements:

Site Owner - The person who is ultimately responsible for all site content.

Authors - These subject matter experts are persons who write site content.

Contributor - The person, trained in the use of Adobe Contribute (a web authoring application), who has permission to access and add content to the web site.

Webmaster - The expert who is responsible for providing all current and future site functionality, access and reliability, as well as technical support for the contributor corps. Additionally, the Webmaster provides system administration for the Content Management System.

Technology Support Strategic Planning Sub-Committee - The committee responsible for providing advice and guidance on all Internet related matters.

Templates allow the Webmaster to concentrate on development and support tasks: write code, provide information architecture solutions, design navigation elements, build functionality solutions and provide assistance to over thirty-five contributors site-wide.

The divisions and colleges add web content to their website using the Webmasters templates and Adobe Contribute software. Contributors are able to send content to Content Owners and authors for approval prior to publishing it to the website.

Design templates, help desk support, and the Adobe Contribute tutorials all work together seamlessly to offer resources for our web content providers.
