Our Mission

The mission of  Academic Advising is to assist undergraduate students in developing an educational plan consistent with their life goals and objectives.   Advising assist students in

1) evaluating their progress toward the realization of their goals,
2) making decisions based on accurate information,
3) comprehending institutional policies and procedures and
4) understanding institutional support services available to them.  

For purposes of recruiting and retention, the services listed above are provided to potential, continuing, and non-degree seeking students.  Further, advisors provide counsel and expertise in academic policies, programs, and class schedule development.
