About the College of Business

The College of Business at USF St. Petersburg educates current and future professionals in the effective management and ethical leadership of organizations. We engage in theoretical and practical research as well as provide service to both the University and external community.  We meet the demands of our diverse student population by preparing them for an increasingly global environment with both undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

We are accredited by AACSB International, the premier accrediting body for schools of business worldwide.  AACSB accreditation means that we are driven by our mission, our faculty are expertly qualified in the areas in which they teach, and the overall quality of education at the College of Business continues to improve through rigorous standards set forth by AACSB.  Less than one third of U.S. business schools are AACSB accredited, and only about 15% of business schools are accredited worldwide.  The Program of Accountancy is separately accredited through AACSB, meaning this program has met additional standards set by AACSB.

The College provides a diverse range of courses incorporating social responsibility, e-commerce, financial investments, taxation, cross-cultural management, forensic accounting, business strategy, and much more.

To prepare students for leadership roles in their careers, the College of Business offers an interdisciplinary approach that develops communication, technology, decision-making and teamwork skills.  We also support our students' career goals through the Student Business Organization and workshops to enhance professional development.
