Voicemail Instructions Getting Started To begin using the telephone voicemail system, users need to enroll as a subscriber, which is done by phone. During enrollment, users must record and provide information about themselves. This enrollment process can be done by calling the voicemail system from within the USFSP campus or from a remote location. After subscribing, users will be able to access our voicemail system to check or send messages and to modify a variety of voicemail features and options. Subscribing to Voicemail The enrollment information that our voicemail system will ask for will depend on the location that the user is calling from. Campus Computing provides users with their new phone extension, such as "3-4551", and their initial password, usually "134679". Follow the steps below to begin the process of enrolling as a subscriber and personalizing your voicemail:
Using Voicemail After enrollment, users may manage messages, features and settings by phone. Use the following steps for accessing voicemail. Remember, the information that voicemail prompts for will depend on the location that the user is calling from.
Checking Messages Users may check their personal voicemail messages from any telephone by calling the 3-4000 extension on campus, or the external phone number, (727) 873-4000, from an off-campus location. They may also press the messages button their phone.
