Chinese Journalist Jay Black and Min Chen
Min Chen, with translator Haiyan Wang, discuss the differences between news media in China and the U..S. with students in Dr. Jay Black's Media Ethics class. Mr. Chen is one of China's most prominent journalists. He has written two books about changes in Chinese culture--both of which have been banned in his home country.
Dr. Black welcomes our two visitors, who are part of the International Visiting Journalists program. Nearly every month the department hosts emminent journalists from all over the world, under the auspices of the U.S. State Department.
