News For Current Students


Caitlin Kuleci, a senior graduating this May, has been hired as Web Content Editor for the Bay News 9 website. Congratulations to Caitlin! Also, as if she won't be busy enough, Caitlin has been accepted into our MA program in Journalism and Media Studies.

Nick Acosta's video project from our Video Storytelling II class is being showcased on Tampa Bay's Channel 340. It was a comedy video Nick did for one of his required projects titled "the Hamburger Romance". If you have Brighthouse digital cable, check it out!

Chris Wagar, one of our recent graduates, has been hired as a reporter at KHQ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Spokane, Washington. Chris was a highy acclaimed intern at WFLA, NewsChannel 8, in Tampa. He even had a story he wrote, produced, and in which he appeared aired on NewsChannel 8 while an intern. Congratulations, Chris!
