First Time in College Students

Fall Registration is now available!

Students enjoy an orientation session exercise.

We know that college is an exciting and challenging time for students and their families, so we've prepared a comprehensive overnight orientation program focused on helping you make a smooth transition to your life at USF St. Petersburg. Because we want our students to be successful, we require all new students attend a New Student Orientation program.

There are many exciting changes happening to orientation at USFSP this summer! New first time in college students have been assigned an orientation date. Please confirm your date on this page. Also this summer for first time in college students you will be required to attend a 2-Day mandatory overnight session.* You will have the opportunity to stay in the residence hall and participate in events throughout the evening; all while meeting other new students and making your first connections at USF St. Petersburg!

* Students who confirm after July 1, 2008 have been moved to a new session in late August. Your new date will appear when you login below. Once you confirm and pay for your new date you will receive an email with information on how to register for classes.

Confirm your orientation date by clicking here. You will be asked to pay for your orientation session. Please have a credit or debit card ready. You will need to know your U number to complete the form. If you don't know your U number please visit the FAQ page to locate your U number.
Register a parent or family member to attend our optional Family Orientation *Only for July Sessions.
Complete and submit your Immunization Records prior to orientation so that you will be able to register for classes on the date of orientation.
Wait for your Orientation information letter to arrive via US mail about one week after completing the online form.
Attend special first time in college Welcome Week programs on August 23 – 24 including Freshman Convocation.
